Overview

Building on the momentum of the “Top 30 Agentic Marketers to Watch,” we created a nomination-based program to surface and celebrate the next generation of agentic marketing leaders.

The goal was not only to recognize innovation, but to turn the community into active participants—inviting marketing leaders to nominate rising talent within their teams and contribute to shaping the narrative around agentic marketing.

👀 Challenge

While “agentic marketing” was becoming a widely discussed concept, many marketers still lacked a clear understanding of what it meant in practice.

At the same time, nomination-based programs typically suffer from low participation due to unclear value, time friction, and lack of motivation for nominators.

The challenge was to design an experience that both clarified the concept and made participation feel easy, meaningful, and worth sharing.

✨ Design Approach

I approached this as a participation-driven experience rather than a static campaign, focusing on reducing friction in the nomination flow while amplifying motivation and visibility for both nominators and nominees.

This meant balancing clarity (what qualifies as “agentic marketing”) with energy and excitement, and designing a system that could evolve from nomination to winner announcement to social distribution.

Lowering friction in nomination

I designed the nomination landing experience to simplify what could otherwise feel like a high-effort task, breaking down the process into clear, approachable steps and framing it as a quick way to recognize impactful work.

Clear prompts and examples helped users understand what “agentic marketing” looks like in practice, reducing ambiguity and hesitation.

✨ Winners Landing Page

I approached the winners page as more than an announcement—it’s a moment to make the work behind “agentic marketing” feel real and tangible.

Instead of a simple list, each winner is presented in a way that highlights what they built and why it matters, helping others understand what agentic marketing looks like in practice.

The page is designed to be both easy to scan and worth exploring, while also making it effortless for winners to share their recognition—turning the announcement into a broader moment of visibility for the community.

🔗 Extending the Experience Across Channels

The experience was extended across web, email, and social to support both participation and awareness.

Each channel played a distinct role—from driving nominations to building anticipation and amplifying winners—while maintaining a consistent visual and narrative identity throughout.

🎉 Impact

The program successfully built on the momentum of the previous campaign, generating strong engagement through nominations and social sharing.

More importantly, it helped position agentic marketing not just as a concept, but as a set of real, emerging practices—grounded in the work of recognizable individuals and teams.
